Two Graves - Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child I believe that I have read every one of the Pendergast novels, and this one was the least satisfying. The genetic manipulation underlying the plot seems to be poorly founded in current work, epigenetic, etc., and strains credulity. The subplots do not add to the story, and are poorly done, the characters in the subplots seem like cartoons, hackneyed dialogue. Overall, this trilogy is not up to the standard of the earlier work, and this last of the three is the weakest of the three.
